Residence permit guidance in İstanbul — you apply, we prepare you

You submit your application yourself through e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr and attend the appointment in person, as the law requires. We prepare the document set, check every item against the current rules, coach you through the form and the appointment, and accompany you. We do not file applications on anyone's behalf, and we never collect state fees.

Official warning from the Göç İdaresi (paraphrased). No fee other than the residence permit harç and the card fee is payable to the state for a residence permit application. Persons presenting themselves as intermediaries, "file trackers" or commissioners are not recognised by the Directorate; applicants are asked not to pay such persons. The notarial tariff is paid by you directly to the notary. We are not a notary and receive no remuneration from any notary.

Pilot prices, valid until 31.12.2026, incl. KDV. Harç and card fee are paid by you at the tax office, a contracted bank or via the payment reference e-ikamet generates — the receipt is in your name and goes into your file.

What "guidance" means in practice

We prepare. Checklist per person with the official source for each item; translations and notarisations coordinated through our document chain; insurance policy checked against the current circular; biometric photo checked against the specification.
We check. Address match between your lease, nüfus registration and the form; passport validity against the permit period you request; dates, names, transliterations.
We coach. Screen-share or step cards in your language for each e-ikamet field. You enter your own data and press submit.
We accompany. Appointment pack in the order the officer expects; a person with you at the directorate where permitted, as your interpreter and helper — not as your representative.
We follow up. What silence means, when to call 157, how to read the status page; renewal date saved so it does not creep up on you again.

What we never do

Submit for you

We never create or submit an e-ikamet application in our name or with your login. You keep your credentials. If someone offers to "file it for you", they are offering what the Directorate warns against.

Charge for the state

No "harç included", no "dosya" fee, no collection of card fees. Receipts are in your name. The only money you pay us is the guidance fee shown above.

Promise an outcome

No approval promises, no "contacts", no faster-than-everyone-else processing. Decisions are made by the provincial directorate on its own timeline.

Questions

Why don't you file the application for me?

Because the law reserves filing on behalf of applicants to a licensed intermediary regime under Law 6458 art. 21(7), and the Göç İdaresi states that intermediaries are not recognised. e-ikamet is a pre-application you complete yourself; the application is completed when you attend in person. We prepare, check, coach and accompany — that is lawful and, in practice, what actually gets files accepted.

What do I pay the state?

The residence permit card fee of ₺964 (2026) and, depending on your nationality, a residence permit harç. Citizens of Turkmenistan and Syria are exempt from the harç; many nationalities pay the group A rate of $80 per year. Both are paid by you to the tax office or bank against a receipt in your name — never to us. Current table: goc.gov.tr/belge-bedeli-ve-harc-miktari.

Can you promise my permit will be approved?

No, and nobody honest can. The provincial migration directorate decides. We are responsible for a complete, correct and well-presented file and a prepared applicant.
